Daylight Savings Time Under Windows 95/98

How do I set my computer's clock to automatically change for daylight savings time?

Windows 95/98 automatically changes this if Date/Time properties are set to automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time. Do the following to check this:
1. On your screen, locate and click the Start button. From the Start menu, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
2. From the Control Panel, double-click the Date/Time icon.
3. From the Date/Time Properties window, click the Time Zone tab.
4. Check to see if the box next to Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes is checked. If not, select the box then click OK.

Intel Pentium III or Celeron CPU Identified Incorrectly

I recently installed an Intel Pentium III processor. When I run the Microsoft System Information tool, or view the General tab in the System properties box of Windows 95, it is still listed as a Pentium II. How do I correct this?

This occurs with all Intel Pentium III and Celeron processors. The cause is that Windows is only aware of those processors that were in existence when Windows was developed. There is no way to change the displayed information, and the information will not effect the performance of your Intel Pentium III or Celeron processor.
